פרשת וארא
Hello Guys,
Today I will be talking about פרשת וארא
Today we learned about the begging of the plagues, and how it feels to not be listened to.
SO basically what happened is the Israelite are slaves in Egypt and Pharaoh won’t let them go. Aaron and Moses have to convince Pharaoh that there god is stronger than theirs. Pharaoh didn’t let the go. So the plagues started and Pharaoh kept saying I’ll let you go! But NO after the plague stops, he says NO. As my friend says “He pulled the Lavan card”
That is where we left off.
WAIT! Don’t close the tab I have 1 more thing to say!

Listen
In this parishah the Israelite’s don’t listen to Moses and Aaron saying that they will be free soon. After we finished we had a conversation about what it feels like to not get answered to or when someone doesn’t listen to you. I shared that when me and my sister have fights, she rarely listens to me and when I tell her what I am doing she doesn’t really care. She acts like a mom to me sometimes, and when I act tell that she shouldn’t do something my parents say “Your not her mom”, but when she does it, all I get is “She’s just learning. Another thing that is annoying is when your parents are texting and you are talking to them and they don’t listen to you, they are like “Ya, Okay”.
We also got asked to write why people don’t listen. I will list some of the reasons:
- Phones
People are to addicted to there phones
2. They don’t care
Instead of saying I don’t care they don’t say it, so they fake listening. HOW RUDE
3. They are trying to be kind
They are trying to be kind and look like they are listening
WELL that is it
I hope you enjoy this.
An interesting analysis, and good reminder that we have the power to choose whether to listen or not.
Starielle – what a thoughtful review of the parsha, and how it can be applied to everyday life. And that we all need to put down our devices way more often.
Thank you for the reply. It is a good thing to have the power to choose to listen or to not listen
