Hello Everyone!

Today our talk is fractions!
I was asked to write what I already knew and what I learnt.
I already knew that if the numerator is the same as the denominator that equals a 
whole number. I knew if you had a pizza with 10 pieces and you gave a friend 2 pizzas,
the denominator would be the same as it started which is ten. Now you have 8 slices.
The answer would be eight over ten.

Now I will talk about what I learned
I learned the names of the fraction and about why they are that
Zero = 0 over a number
Proper =  smaller number over larger number
Whole = numerator and the denominator are the same
Improper = the larger number is over the smaller number

I learned that comparing fractions is called the equivalent.  
I learned, proper is more than a zero, whole is more than a proper, and improper is more than a whole...

Hi guys, Today we are blogging about math!

This morning we were doing a multiplication review. We are doing a math review and today it was multiplication. What we did was we would roll a dice and depending on what number it landed on, we would answer the question!

In this doc I will be writing about my matter experiment. What did we do? WE MADE  ICE CREAM.

What were the ingredients?

•  Cream (the one in the milk bottle)
• Salt (without going to a cave)
• Ice (Not snow, Ice)
• Small Zip lock bag (READ IT RIGHT!)
• Big Zip Lock bag (Not the small one)
• Vanilla extract (not coconut)
• Sugar (not salt)

What was the procedure?

1. Take your small zip lock bag and put cream in it (there is no exact amount, just how much you want)
2. Pour some vanilla extract. Around a tablespoon of it.
3. Put in a little bit of sugar. If you put too much it will not freeze. After close the small bag up
4. Now with your bigger bag and a lot of ice into it.
5. QUICKLY after that, pour in a decent amount of salt. Quickly put your small bag in and close the big bag. 
6. Shake for around 10-15 minutes. 
7. Once complete ENJOY!

Reflection

I found that this experiment went awesome. What I could do better is shake it for longer to make it more of a solid. The reason for this experiment is to see 2 forms of matter. Liquid and Solid. We saw how the ingredients were really liquidy and after a while they were less!

This week we started learning cursive! YAY! I love Cursive and find it so nice to do. It is really calming and enjoyable. I may not be the best at cursive but I am willing to learn more and more stuff about cursive. Check out a picture of my work.
